Validation beta
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026
CatchK is a beta service for validating demand for K-content item sourcing from Korea. This policy explains what we collect during the waitlist and sourcing-request flow.
Information we collect
- Email address submitted through the waitlist modal.
- Uploaded screenshot or item clue image, stored as image data or a storage reference during the validation phase.
- Optional product notes, such as drama title, episode, item name, or styling context.
- Private budget minimum and maximum in USD.
- Technical metadata needed to operate the site, protect endpoints, and debug submissions.
How we use information
- To measure high-intent demand for cross-border sourcing.
- To contact waitlisted users about beta access, sourcing priority, and first-match voucher information.
- To analyze item categories, budget ranges, and matching feasibility.
- To prevent abuse, spam, and unauthorized access to validation records.
What we do not do
- We do not sell waitlist emails or uploaded images.
- We do not publicly reveal a user's maximum budget.
- We do not use uploaded images to claim ownership of third-party content.
Uploaded content
Users should upload screenshots only for item-identification context. CatchK may use the screenshot and notes internally to understand demand and evaluate sourcing feasibility. Users should avoid uploading sensitive personal documents or private images unrelated to the item request.
Data retention
During the beta, validation records are retained while CatchK evaluates demand and contacts priority users. Records can be deleted or exported from the admin workflow when no longer needed for validation analysis.
